Our club was founded in 1961 and is one of the longest established Dog Obedience Clubs in Queensland

Training Schedule

We offer an 8 week Beginner Obedience Course.  New classes start every four weeks and are held on Sunday mornings.  Dates for 2012 are: January.............. 22nd. February............. 19th. March.................. 18th. April..................... 22nd. May..................... 20th. June.................... 24th. July...................... 22nd. August................ 26th. September......... 23th.   There will be NO Dog Training on the following Dates April 8th.......&........June 10th Aug 5th........&........Oct 28th   Cost:     $120.00 What's Included:       Val Bonney book "Who's the Boss?" On completion of the 8 week course, members of the Club are welcome to attend more advanced training classes.

When:    Sunday mornings (8:00am till 8:45 am)

OR

Friday nights (7:30pm till 8:30 pm).

Cost:      $5.00 per class

Stay for a tea/coffee/cold drink afterwards and get to meet other club members.  We all have a common interest - we love our dogs.

Triallers:  For those members who enter Obedience competitions (competitions are held regularly throughout the year), we offer more intensive training classes to teach you ring etiquette and to prepare you for whatever level you are trialling at.

Sunday mornings - Time:  7:00am till 7:45am - Summer months (from September 18th, 2011)

Sunday mornings – Time: 9:00am till 10am - Winter months (20th June to Sept)

Cost:      $5.00 per class.

Agility

A number of our club members also trial in Agility/Jumping.
 
When:  Wednesday nights 6:30pm (setting up of equipment) 7:00pm till 8:00pm Talk to one of our committee members if you are interested in Agility/Jumping.
